Arts Integration For Teachers
Hampton Friends of the Arts offers arts integration professional development opportunities for classroom teachers throughout the year. These immersive training experiences connect educators with practicing artists and arts professionals while demonstrating practical strategies for integrating creativity into core classroom instruction. Through hands-on participation, collaborative learning, and real-time application with student participants, teachers gain tools to strengthen student engagement, critical thinking, communication, and creative problem-solving across grade levels and subject areas. Programs are designed to be accessible, adaptable, and rooted in experiential learning, helping educators build confidence in using the arts as a meaningful instructional resource in diverse educational settings.
